Cool little museum — not a destination on its own (IMO), but if you’re already in Atlanta it’s definitely worth a visit. It’s heavy on the Henson stuff, naturally, but has all kinds of stuff going back to ancient Japan and China.
We were there about 4 years ago, as well. In addition to the museum, they have visiting puppeteers who put on shows in the small theatre. A very unique experience, for sure.

I love it. They’ve had actual muppets on display, a Skeksis in a giant case, sets and characters from Coraline...
I hope someday they get some Kubo and the Two Strings stuff. Would I love to see the giant skeleton animatronic puppet? Wouldn’t anyone?
